PRDA 50th Anniversary

Capital Campaign

Funding Facility Upgrades for our Future

In celebration of PRDA’s 50th Anniversary, we invite you to participate in our first ever Capital Campaign! PRDA is seeking to raise $120 000 to fund two exciting & much needed facility upgrades!! Celebrate with us by giving generously today!!

Lacey’s Lounge: a safe, warm, viewing experience for riders & caregivers. COMPLETE

To ensure the best care for PRDA riders, caregivers must remain on property, yet away from the riding area, during therapeutic riding . Lacey’s lounge will serve as a welcoming waiting area and warm, safe space, allowing caregivers to observe riders engaged in therapeutic riding through a one-way window. Named to honour the memory of PRDA’s beloved therapy horse, Lacey. Survived by her owner and long time PRDA rider, Krystal Schrauwen. Donations to the PRDA 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign can be made by cheque made out to Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities or by selecting DONATE NOW!

Rider & Volunteer Reception: bringing ease & clarity to check-in

At PRDA, we continue to look for ways to ease the transition into riding and therapy for those we serve. The building renovation for Rider & Volunteer Reception will make the space for a accessible, clear, peaceful transition, in and out of service, for all who participate in PRDA’s equine assisted therapies. The new Rider & Volunteer Reception Area will also provide dedicated space for volunteers to change outerware & store belongings while being of service. Volunteers are the backbone of PRDA and we look forward to providing them with this much needed space. Donations to the PRDA 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign can be made by cheque to Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities or by selecting DONATE NOW!
