PRDA does not receive core provincial government funding. All of the services we provide are made possible through generous contributions of service clubs, private charitable foundations and dedicated individual and corporate contributors. The Triple Crown of Giving provides contributors with three meaningful ways to support PRDA's programs financially.
Sponsor a Horse
Sponsor a Horse...Create a Possibility
For less than $10 per day you can provide a horse or pony to carry a rider towards their dream of freedom. Take Raz for example. Raz, whose full name is Razzmatazz, is a 19-year-old quarter horse. He came to PRDA in 2004 through the generous donation of Ardele Krogh. Raz is the favorite mount of many of our younger riders. In fact he is a regular with our school groups and the Child Development Centre classes that run on Thursday mornings. When you walk through the barn youll know Raz right away, as his eager nickers will command your attention and his gentle nature will capture your heart. When you sponsor Raz, or any of our special equine therapists, your donation goes toward:
Feed and Bedding
Vitamins and Supplements
Veterinary and Farrier Services
A warm winter Blanket
There are three types of Horse Sponsorship Available:
Gold Sponsorship - $3000 per year
Photo and horse biography.
May add your name to horse's name, if appropriate.
Mounted plaque on the horses stall.
Recognition on the PRDA Donor Wall of Fame
Opportunity to visit 'your horse', bring a treat, and have your photo taken.
This is an exclusive sponsorship opportunity.
Silver Sponsorship - $1500 per year
Photo and horse biography.
Mounted plaque on the horses stall

Bronze Sponsorship - $1000 per year

Sponsor Riders
Support our Rider Programs...Create a Dream
Helen Thomson said "In riding a horse, we borrow freedom." At PRDA we know this true, and our riders remind us of it every single day.
Did you know that it costs over $100 per lesson to ride at PRDA? These are the costs directly related to riding and don't include any of the centre's administrative costs. PRDA is committed to providing equestrian therapy to all who would benefit from it, not just to those who can afford it. It is this commitment that has lead us to keep our lesson fees as low as $25 per lesson. For each and every rider PRDA raises over $75 per lesson.
PRDA needs the help of our community in order to continue to subsidize lesson fees and maintain this commitment to our riders. We are thankful to all the individuals and the charitable foundations that have provided rider sponsorships this year, and hope that you will continue to help those riders who would not otherwise be able to benefit from theraputic riding.
The following levels of rider sponsorships are available:

 Gold Sponsorship
$1710 - subsibizes one rider for three sessions
 Silver Sponsorship
$1140 - subsidies one rider for two sessions
 Bronze Sponsorship
$570 - subsidizes one rider for one session |

Monthly Giving Program
The third part of our Triple Crown of Giving is the monthly giving program. Members of this program generously make monthly donations to support Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities and help keep our programs running and the cost to riders low. Donations can be any amount, and can be a series of post-dated cheques or pre-authorized credit card amount. The third option is to donate through the secure CanadaHelps website by clicking on the blue rectangle on the left side of your screen. The choice is yours and it makes all the difference in the world to our special riders!
